Iowa State is back in the Big 12 race after upsetting previously unbeaten Oklahoma State with a late fourth-down stop.

Iowa State men’s basketball has found its coach in a familiar face: T.J. Otzelberger, an assistant with the Cyclones during two previous stints.

All eyes are on Iowa State coach Steve Prohm after the Cyclones finished 2-22, losing a program-worst 18 consecutive games to end the year.

The No. 2-ranked Baylor Bears hadn’t played a game in three weeks, and it showed as Iowa State nearly pulled off an upset on Tuesday night.

Iowa State originally was to allow for 25,000 fans at its season opener, but the school changed its mind after criticism.
