Get a free Slurpee at 7-Eleven for Free Slurpee Day and 7-Eleven Day on 7/11. But you need the chain’s rewards program and app to get the freebie.

Is 7-Eleven Day canceled? Kind of but the convenience store chain is celebrating its birthday with free Slurpee drinks in July not just on 7/11.

More Tyson chicken is being recalled for possible listeria contamination. The USDA updated the recall Thursday to add about 500,000 more pounds.

Costco Wholesale Clubs plan to end special senior hours starting July 26. Clubs will continue to hold the hours weekdays until then, Costco said.

Walmart, Target and Kroger are among the stores that sold Tyson Foods recalled chicken products. Close to 8.5 million pounds are part of the recall.

Most stores are open for July 4th sales, but Costco clubs and Hobby Lobby stores are closed Sunday. Some shops will close early for Independence Day.
