Jake Patterson was sent to a New Mexico prison and removed from Wisconsin’s online prisoner database for his protection.

The man who gunned down a Barron couple and kidnapped their daughter was sentenced Friday.

Jake Patterson willbe sentenced Friday after pleading guilty to killing James and Denise Closs and kidnapping, Jayme Closs outside Barron, Wisconsin.

Support for the 13-year-old has explodedsince she fled a Douglas County home where she had been held for 88 days.
