The U.S. granted Chinese telecom giant Huawei another 90 days to buy equipment from American suppliers.

U.S. stocks closed slightly lower Wednesday as the market gave back some of its gains from the day before.

Stocks marched higher Friday, putting the market on track to erase much of the losses it sustained this week.

U.S. stocks fell Tuesday, with the S&P 500 down 0.6%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.7% and Nasdaq composite down 0.6%.
